Cel przedmiotu

The aim of the course is to introduce students to the world of English for Specific Purposes (ESP). The course is intended to serve as an introduction to ESP so that students can learn vocabulary and concepts related to specific professions. The course is designed to arouse students' interest in the area of ESP, so that they can consider future career paths related to ESP.

Wymagania wstępne

English at C1 level. A curiosity to explore new potential career paths.

Zakres tematyczny

The course will cover material in many different areas, including:

Military English
Medical and pharmaceutical
English for scientific purposes
English for construction and architecture
English for the hotel and service industry
Legal English
English for the tourism industry

Metody kształcenia

The course will consist of interactive lessons with an emphasis on practical tasks designed to introduce students to new vocabulary and concepts. The course will conclude with a written test.
