Aim of the course

Acquiring basic organ skills.

Becoming familiar with the construction of the instrument.

Learning about different types of instruments.

Learning the names and functions of individual elements of the organ in relation to the method of extraction and quality of the sound.

Learning the rules of the ergonomic way of playing.

Learning how to use your legs correctly and to play with the toe and heel.

 

 

Prerequisites

Medium piano skills.

Scope

- possible posture correction

- learning and developing the pedal technique

- improving the precision of articulation as a basic means of conveying artistic nuances, including dynamics

- learning and developing knowledge of music literature/methodology, repertoire related to organs

- improving the correctness of the stylistic interpretation

- methods of work on the song, methods of exercising

- individual work of the teacher with the student

- public performances with analysis and suggestions

Assignment conditions

- systematic attendance and activity in classes, conscientious mastering of the material scope determined by the teacher during own work
