Aim of the course

The aim of the M.A. seminar is to prepare student’s own thesis, under a supervision of a director of studies, which will be the basis for the M.A. comprehensive exam. The task of the studies director is to determine the topic and thesis issues, targeting of empirical research and monitoring the student’s own work.

Scope

  1. Presentation of individual seminar participants subject of interests.
  2. Query and discussion over the shape of the individual ideas regarding the analyzed issue.
  3. The initial formulation of the problem, getting acquainted with and analysis of selected theories adequate to the issue-query-discussion of individual projects.
  4. Formulation of a detailed outline of the work on the theoretical part -discussion on the correctness of the assumed theoretical analysis.
  5. Check and analysis of the individual theoretical parts.
