Przedmiot ma za zadanie przedstawienie historii starożytnej Brytanii od jej podboju przez Rzymian do V w. Głównym celem przedmiotu jest lektura i analiza źródeł starożytnych i literatury przedmiotu w języku angielskim oraz poznawanie najważniejszej historycznej terminologii.
