The primary aim of the internship is to familiarise the student with the specific operation of industrial plants, the cooperation of individual departments their organisation and the management of human resources in the practical operation of companies.

consolidation of the theoretical knowledge acquired during the studies by applying it in professional practice;
the production process and the work of the technical departments, to familiarise with methods of work organisation and technical progress;
the basic rules of work discipline and with the conditions of safety and hygiene at work;
the company's requirements for employees;
to create conditions for self-evaluation in decision making process, to recognise predispositions and to reveal weaknesses;
observation and experimental material related to the diploma thesis;
increase employment opportunities after graduation.

The prerequisite for passing the internship is:
Holding the internship on the agreed date
Submission of an internship report in the form of an Internship Log. The Practice Log should bear the seal of the workplace and be signed by a representative of the workplace. In the Internship Log the student records the activities carried out during the practice period. These activities are confirmed by a representative of the establishment.
Approval of the report by the Institute's Practice Supervisor
