Cel przedmiotu

Discussing psychological theories, problems and dilemmas of adult development.

Wymagania wstępne

Basic course of psychology. Lectures are designed for students who are interested in psychological and philosophical aspects of adult development as well as possible directions of their own development.

Zakres tematyczny

Psychological aspects of good and evil in human being (examples of well-known psychological experiments and artistic performances), dilemmas of moral development, mechanisms of disengaging one’s conscience, creation of narrative identity (Dan McAdam’s theory), theories of mature personality, ways of seeking personal maturity on the basis of humanistic theories, psychological games in human relationships, mid-life crisis and its consequences.

Metody kształcenia

Lecture with discussion, explanation, literature study, case studies, educational films.
