Aim of the course

The aim of the course is to present some educational aspects of subjectivity. To provide students with knowledge and reflection about subjectivity of various groups of the system of education (students, teachers, parents, officials)

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge in pedagogy, sociology and psychology

Scope

  • Subjectivity – what does it mean?
  • Subjectivity in various theories
  • Why is it so difficult to measure subjectivity?
  • Why do we want to be subjects? Do all people want to be subjects?
  • Subjectivity of students in various relationships (with teachers, parents, the system...)
  • Subjectivity of teachers.
  • Subjectivity of parents.
  • Subjectivity in Polish schools
  • Research about subjectivity
