Aim of the course

Preparing the students for the planning of cultural animation projects.

Prerequisites

None

Scope

The concept of cultural animation; the specificity of culture animators work; project as a method of cultural animation; case studies of cultural animation projects; planning of a project: problem/needs, participants group, goals and objectives, results, tasks, place, time (schedule), animators team, resources.

Teaching methods

Lecture, case study, working in groups, discussion, presentation.

Assignment conditions

Student should solve properly all exercises to the project planning; he/she has to prepare a presentation about an exemplary cultural animation project and create a coherent plan of a cultural animation project. The final grade is calculated using the arithmetic mean of grades of the particular tasks.
