To provide students with comprehensive knowledge on selected topics related to the process of education and its social determinants
No special prerequisites.
Sociology of education as a sociological subdiscipline.
The concept of education in sociology.
Education and social stratification processes - sociological perspective.
School selection process and its social conditions.
Education from the perspective of "hidden" program.
New dimensions of social differentiation among the youths.
Lecture with discussion. Multimedia learning process – using Power point presentations. Case studies presentation during the lecture.
