Aim of the course

To familiarize students with basic assumptions of the evaluation research and procedures of planning, implementation,
 and interpretation of this type of research. The main emphasis is put on matching appropriate indicators with project evaluation criteria and formulating conclusions (recommendations and directives.

Scope

  1. Concept of evaluation, history of evaluation research, applicability of evaluation research social functions of evaluation.
  2. Types of evaluation research. Monitoring, audit, evaluation.
  3. Models and schemes of evaluation research and their application in practice.
  4. Evaluation design, indicators design, evaluation metrics.
  5. Basic analytical procedures used in evaluation research and empirical sociology tools used in this type of research.
  6. Carrying out evaluation research.
  7. Preparation of a report on the evaluation research (recipients, structure, language).
