Cel przedmiotu

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with selected issues related to social diversity issues both theoretical and empirical, and preparation to recognize and analyze contemporary issues of social differentiation.

Thematic scope of THE LECTURES:

  1. Problem. Social problem. Diversity and social inequality.
  2. Issues of social diversity
  3. Social participation.
  4. Social exclusion.

 

Thematic scope of THE CLASSES:

  1. Participation in public sphere.
  2. Participation in public sphere. Election.
  3. Participation in public sphere. Membership in social organizations.
  4. Participation in public sphere. Strikes, demonstrations, protests.
  5. Poverty. Mechanisms of poverty.

Metody kształcenia

The content of the lectures is transmitted through the use of such teaching methods as a conventional lecture, problem lecture and conversational lecture. Teaching methods used to implement the thematic scope of the classes include work with literature,multiple discussion, classic problem-solving method.
